How the diagnostics are built

NerdTools turns bounded observations from public DNS, WHOIS, TLS, HTTP, IP, reputation, and network services into structured evidence. Targets and redirect destinations are checked to keep requests on public infrastructure, and individual tool failures remain isolated so one unavailable source does not erase the rest of a scan.

Corrections and accountability

NerdTools guidance is maintained alongside the software that produces the diagnostic results. Reproducible parser errors, outdated technical guidance, and disclosure questions can be sent through the contact page.

Privacy First

Browser scan targets may appear in public recent-scan and leaderboard features unless you select Hide results; qualifying summaries can also be cached for a limited period.
