When performing planned maintenance or expecting temporary issues, you can snooze alerts to avoid unnecessary notifications.
How to snooze
- Go to your uptime monitor's settings.
- Find the snooze or alert settings section.
- Select how long to snooze alerts.
What happens during snooze
- Monitoring continues normally
- All checks are recorded
- Uptime statistics are still calculated
- No alert emails are sent
Ending snooze early
You can cancel the snooze at any time from the monitor settings. Alerts will resume immediately.
Best practices
Only snooze for the expected maintenance duration. If maintenance finishes early, cancel the snooze so you're alerted to any unexpected issues.
