Screenshot Monitoring

Why isn't my screenshot monitor capturing?

If your screenshot monitor isn't capturing images, check these common causes:

Domain not verified

Screenshot monitoring requires DNS verification. Check your monitor status to see if verification is pending, and ensure your TXT record is correctly configured.

URL not accessible

The URL must be publicly accessible. Our capture service cannot access:

  • Pages behind authentication/login
  • Localhost or internal network addresses
  • Pages blocked by firewall or geo-restrictions
  • Pages that block automated browsers

Page errors

If the page returns an error (404, 500, etc.) or times out, the capture may fail. Verify the URL loads correctly in your browser.

Monitor paused or disabled

Check if the monitor has been paused. You can resume it from the monitor settings.

Plan limits

If you've reached your plan's monitor limit, new monitors won't be active. Consider upgrading or removing unused monitors.
