Server Monitoring

Using the dashboard and charts

The server monitoring dashboard shows real-time gauges and interactive historical charts.

Status indicator

At the top of the dashboard, you'll see the server's current status:

  • Online — The agent reported within the last 5 minutes
  • Offline — No report received in the last 5 minutes

Real-time gauges

Four gauges display the latest values for CPU, memory, disk, and network. Each gauge includes:

  • Current value (percentage or bytes)
  • A mini sparkline showing recent trend
  • Trend indicator (up, down, or steady)

Historical charts

Below the gauges, you'll find interactive charts for each metric. Click on a chart to expand it and see more detail.

For ranges of 30 days or less, you see individual data points. For longer ranges, data is aggregated into hourly buckets to keep charts responsive.

Chart interactions

  • Hover over any point to see the exact value and timestamp
  • Click and drag to zoom into a specific time window
  • Use the Reset zoom button to return to the full view

24-hour peak summary

The summary panel shows the highest values recorded in the past 24 hours for:

  • Peak CPU usage
  • Peak memory usage
  • Peak disk usage
  • Peak network throughput (RX and TX)

This helps you spot usage spikes that may have occurred while you weren't watching.
